350 miles of misery - MU @MTSU 03/03
This has all the makings of a epic beat-down. We played one of the worst games in conference play last night vs UAB. Would love to start some smack talk with Raider fans but my heart just won't let me.
Instead, I hope there is a sell-out crowd to send off your Seniors. They have written some great new chapters for Raider b-ball.
If we give tremendous effort & shoot the lights out form downtown, we should be able to stay w-in 20....

Go Herd! always, but this one isn't going to be pretty.

Yep. Kermit has a lot of respect for DD so he may call off the dogs early, but this one will get ugly fast. I have nothing but respect for Kermit and the program, good luck in the big dance!

I don't like the fact that you guys lost to UAB.

Coming off an emotional game like last night and your guys coming in angry wanting to bounce back may present a different situation than you guys are expecting. Now that the title and #1 seed is wrapped up I worry about a let down.

You may be right, but I think that loss really sticks in the craw of our players and they are ready to visit some real wrath of biblical (Old Testament) proportions upon the visitors. I do worry that senior night will be more of a factor if indeed there is a letdown, but still I do believe the Raiders roll.

Rent-a-star = Nick King

Wonder if that has made it to the locker room yet ?

This is a classic letdown spot. Marshall off another bad loss and MTSU with nothing to play for. Wouldn't surprise me if its close or even a Marshall win. (Heck, Rhody lost by 30 in same spot).

I agree that this game has letdown written all over it, with that said, we are still playing for seeding.

Normally I would think that we might be vulnerable to a letdown but something tells me we come out and play a complete game tomorrow. Giddy goes out in style.

As much effort and energy as MT put into playing WKU last night I expect some letdown from Mt, but the letdown is still enough to handle the Herd by 15

So far what I was worried is about how it's gone.

We've come out flat and listless.

Great crowd but coming out flat. Gotta play some defense and stop being so scared on offense.

MT - a lot of standing around on defense.

Nobody's moving without the ball on offense.

This is going to be blowout if Kermit doesn't get their heads out of cloud 9.

I've never seen a ref call goal tending on an alley oop.

Big win. Emotional win.

Nothing left to play for (except NCAA seeding)

This was inevitable. The psychology was not in our favor tonight. When is the last time an MT defense give up four or five wide open layups in a half on defense? Everyone is just kind of standing around.

That was brutal. Marshall didn't even play well in the first half.

What a horrendous first half. Gonna need major adjustments if we want to win...
