Well look at USF sitting up in the coffin...
They could be a threat to cause some commotion this coming week.

They are definitely improving. Gives me hope for 1 less RPI anchor next year.

Brian Gregory is doing things right. I credit him with getting through good transfer seniors to mentor the younger guys (Jiggetts, Banks, and Samuel), all of whom came from winning teams. Brown and Collins are going to be good next year, we will miss the three senior transfers but HUGE credit to him.

Today is a good day to be a USF bull.
The men's basketball team wins senior day.
The women stampede over the purple pirates of ECU in the conference tournament.
The baseball team beats Columbia 13-6.

SMU has lost 9 of their last 11 (other 2 were wins over ECU)

Still in improvement for USF and the way you want to go into the offseason if you are their coach, but I don’t think they are going to be wearing a glass slipper next week.

They were playing a team that was also in a coffin. Guessing SMU can't get this season over quickly enough.

USF basketball looked a lot better getting off the bus than ECU does, but they still 2 to them. Maybe they're starting to not only look like Tarzan, but play like Cheetah at least. They're above Jane level for sure.

It cannot be overstated just how much Coach OA killed the program... Gregory seems to be the guy who can right the ship. I am really looking forward to seeing just how far he can bring us back. There is no excuse for the state of USF basketball given our size, resources and conference. Except for one great season under Heath, we have never really been a strong basketball school. I hope Gregory changes that... Time will tell.

If USF plays like they did against Memphis and SMU, they will cause serious problems for someone in AAC tournament, and could actually win a tournament game.

Considering how well Memphis was playing leading up to the USF game AND the game was at home, I say you'd have to hand it to USF for not only winning but dominating.

The way the bracket sets up, they are very much a viable threat to get to the semifinals.
