what is the ceiling for the AAC
Say, UConn was amazing at basketball and decent at football. Memphis and temple were good at their best sports.
WSU baseball was back
Everybody was performing like they should.

Who would make the tourney/bowls and who would be winning the most conference titles?

How many bids per year/NCAA titles would we have say 10 years down the road

What rivalries would develop in football, basketball, and baseball

UH is going to be the leader in football once the dust settles. And I think UCONN would reclaim its spot at the top.

RE: what is the ceailing for the AAC
I think if UConn, Memphis, Tulsa, Temple are all able to get back to being powerful basketball programs, we could see 5-6 teams regularly in the NCAA tournament with the occasional 7 bid years.

Football, I haven’t followed the AAC a ton, but I know Memphis, Houston, Tulsa have all had decent years in the not too distant past to go along with UCF’s Natty. I don’t know what it will take to kick in the doors and get an invite to the tournament, but could see 5-6 teams in bowls, and a couple of those big ones.

Baseball, if WSU can keep winning, which is highly questionable, I’ll start paying attention.

RE: what is the ceiling for the AAC
7 basketball bids are the ceiling and the bloodshed that would occur in this conference on such a year would be absolute PPV on CSNBBS.

The likely 7 candidates would be Wichita, Memphis, UConn, Temple, Cincy, SMU, and *drum roll* ...Tulsa.

Wichita is going to singlehandedly drag Tulsa (kicking and screaming) back to national relevancy. The city of Tulsa, IS NOT going to stand by while we embarrass their flagship city school year in and year out. Tulsa has loads of money and is likely funneling it TU's direction as we speak. The only risk for them will be the temptation to cheat (same goes for Memphis and UConn). Few programs in the world have a coach like Gregg Marshall. If you don't have Gregg Marshall or Calhoun, etc., you almost have to cheat to have a shot at the big prize.

In terms of message boards, the AAC is P1.

If they play their cards right I think the Texas and Florida schools could make the playoff in football.

Regular NCAA tournament bids in basketball:
UConn
Cincinnati
Temple
Memphis
Houston
Wichita State
Tulsa
SMU

CWS contenders in baseball:
Houston
UConn
Wichita State
Tulane

In football: 4-5 Top 25 teams at any given time and sending a team to the playoffs every 2 to 3 years. In a NY6 Bowl every year.

In Men's Basketball: 6-7 Tourney teams. 5 Top 25 teams at a given time. A Final Four team every 2-3 years. Natty Team once every 8 years.

In Women's Basketball: UConn destroys all opponents with fire and brimstone.

Softball: A team makes it to the College World Series.

CWS appearances:

Wichita State: 7 (1982, 1988, 1989 CWS Champions, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996)
UCONN: 5 (1957, 1959, 1965, 1972, 1979)
Tulane: 2 (2001, 2005)
Houston: 2 (1953, 1967)

Maybe ECU needs to get to the Show before bustin anyone.

UCF would be up there for football conference titles. We have won 5 from 07-2017 and have 3 out of the 5 AAC titles already. Thats where the ceiling is. We have gone undefeated in conference play twice but also winless once so theres that.

Not sure if you're trolling or just that badly informed.

You are right that the Tulsa community will start rumbling if we're not competitive with you. It's really just not ok with us.

If you ask most Tulsans we're the rich kids not the flagship although that changes depending on how good we are. When we're winning we're theirs. There is money but Tulsa city support matches our success level.

Now I know you're trolling it's very clear Tulsa won't cheat.

We've been clawing our way back from 9 seniors. Half way there or so now. Next year we should be close to back. But thanks for offering a hand.

Cincinnati will be back in football as well. We also have 5 conference titles from 2008-2014. We made a terrible coaching hire in Tommy Tuberville which set us back a couple years. Luke Fickell's recruiting has been spectacular-- it is just going to take us a couple more years to get there.

UH is the conference. Flagship. (Even though we suck this year in baseball and were mediocre in football)

I also like UCF, but no one else is really worth anything.
