Wow, talk about grasping at straws. There is no debate here, but whatever fantasy land you want to live in, I can't stop you.

I voted WSU to win the tourney. I think they will be hungry and play like it. Might be another classic on Sunday, though I truly believe if UH can find some consistency, they could easily win too.

Fantasy land? Answer this. If that ONE SHOT falls, who would have the 1 seed?

Yes Cincy won the league. To act like they ran away with the league is not correct.

But what if one ball doesn't bounce off a player's head and go through the basket? What happens then?

No idea ... Could have bounced to a WSU player and they hit a 3. There were lots of bounces that went Cincys way too that contributed points (just not so direct). Lots of variables that far into the game.

Having a shot to win as time is expiring though ? That's a little more relevant.

Nice first post..

We all have to start somewhere. They're both "What If's" so they're equally relevant. Frankamp misses 64% of his 3PA's and head balls result in points ~0.00001% of the time? So in the land of "What If's" one is far more miraculous than the other. Whatever is helping you cope though.

Yet again .. there are 1092381290831290831209 scenarios that could play out if that head ball missed.

WSU hitting a shot at the buzzer ... there are no alternate scenarios if that happens. At that point Cincy is no longer the one seed. So it definitely is not equally relevant.

Cincy. I think they are motivated to obtain the best seed possible.

But it wasn't at the buzzer. Probably about 2 seconds left...so there wouldve been alternate scenarios.

Ok fair .. Very few possible scenarios (even though technically WSU DID have a shot at the buzzer .. it was just a bad shot with a man draped on his back)

Who voted for Memphis? Have you guys not been paying attention to us? It would take an act of the old gods and the new for us to win the tournament

Stickyboy, I think you’re out of bounds on this one.

I don’t care if they won the game by 1 point or 21 points or won the league by 1 game, 2 games, or 5 games, they won the title. The victors go the spoils. And yes their metrics were better most of the year too. Cincinnati was the best team in the league. Period.

Eh .. I'm allowed my opinion and I'm literally just stating facts. Not predictive metrics .. but facts. 1 shot changes who was the 1 seed. That's a fact ...

I already congratulated them on a win ... I'm not going to concede that they were night and day better like some are trying to portray because I don't believe that is true. I can do that.

Nobody is saying night and day better. The point is they were objectively the better team throughout the season. By most measures Wichita was a top 15 team... they are really good too.

You could literally pick apart any game on any team’s schedule and play the what if game. Results are the only thing that matter. Period.

I kinda figured Marshall would call a timeout and yall would run a set play, but then again the man doesn't like to use his allotted timeouts.

Fair enough. Back on topic I think Houston will be very hungry to solidify themselves in that 5 to 6 seed range.
