UC fans are riding high because we won the conference. Whoever is riding high at the moment is always strutting their stuff the most. Happens every season, every sport.

Back to the conference tournament, I can’t recall a Wichita State game I cared less about than the games this coming weekend. Any Shocker and/or Cincy fans feel the same way? Even when we were looking at a good seed in the Valley I still was invested in Arch Madness. Maybe it has to with the timing. We’re gonna be playing meaningless games a week apart from NCAA tournament games. We used to have a two week break.

in fairness, didnt we bank in a three at the buzzer? I mean, if I'm right, we really lost by 7. I thought WSU outplayed us in Cincy flat out.

I thought we out toughed them in their place too which is hard to do.

Mick said that environment was the hardest environment he has ever seen to win in and that includes all his years (going to back as an asst to Huggins and Pitino). He said our guys just gutted out the win and beat WSU at their own game. I agree. It was a HECK of a win.

Neither Cincy or Witchita State are teams you want to draw in the NCAA.

I guarantee you the two opposing fan bases are going to see they drew Cincy and WSU respectively and groan.


I think Houston has an advantage because they come in without much prestige and are 'under radar' and they are really good. I think they can use this to their advantage and win some games.
