Herrion is a decent X and O coach on the floor. His recruiting like Ron Jirsa's, it sucked mighty. For a guy who had been a coach since 86-87 season I don't think he had any recruiting ties anywhere.

The thing is Mike should have been hired when Billy The Kid was hired in 94 and Dan should have been hired in 04 when Jirsa was hired.

Is Marshall still playing in the CIT?

Is there any rule against playing in both? We presume there is but has anyone tested it? It’d be funny if it was never codified and it turned out that you could play multiple tournaments in the same year. Funnier still if Marshall made the greatest Cinderella run of all in the NCAAs but lost to Abilene Christian in the CIT opener.

We're "NCAAT, NIT, or going home" this year (and it should be that way most years). With WKU & MT likely to the NIT, we're going home. Your CIT spot will have to be filled by someone else

Yes, we were just in a conference tourney played on side by side courts, so playing in two postseason tournaments, should be a piece of cake.
