Some news to chew on, such as a possible bowl game at Wrigley Field.

Good article...on Wrigley

No thanks unless ND and Louisville really want it...but I suspect it will be a bowl game with the Big Ten and the MAC as a backup.

As a fan I'd rather play as a 6-6 or 7-5 team in some low end bowl in Florida but the money will be much better in Chicago.

Is Wrigley windy? If so, I think I'd pass on a December game there.

Part of me says good God not ANOTHER bowl game but it's interesting to see something (bowl wise) up in Big Ten territory. In the article it said this was a renegotiation of bowls. It certainly didn't seem like it was trying to say "moving" the bowl from NYC to Chicago. Sounds like a new bowl right?

Probably replacing the game in Detroit.

I wish we had a bowl game in Charlston but they don't have an adequate stadium.

That clip is hilarious. Also, I had honestly forgotten there was a bowl in Detroit. Terps actually played there in 2016. Hum... but I honestly think Chicago will draw better than Detroit. One of of the drawbacks is that it would be moving from an indoor stadium (Ford Field) to an outdoor (if they play at Wrigley).

Have to figure Chicago would replace Detroit. Don't know if the National stadium could do football but that would another good replacement site for an ACC/B10 match up. Replace the tie-in with Military and move the DC game to highest lower tier slot. Another bowl would be Fosters in San Francisco. It is on Fox and the ACC would send as many as the B10. Have to figure the ACC will got to 10 full tie-ins with a possible 11 with the current NYD Orlando bowl if B10 goes to Orange will still be in place with the next contract.

Something like this

Top Tier
1. Orange - Champ
1A Orlando NYD (If B10 in Orange)
2. Tampa/Gator vs SEC with B10/ACC split
3. Orlando vs B12

Mid Tier 4-7
Belk vs SEC,
Pinstripe vs B10,
Nashville vs SEC
El Paso vs PAC12

Lower Tier 8-10
HOD vs B12
Chicago vs B10
Indy vs SEC

Why Chicago? It's too cold for an outdoor game in the Winter! At least Detroit is indoors.

Why can't they have one in Indianapolis? Or St. Louis?

Because "northern" teams want to have a advantage over "southern" teams...for once. But seriously, it really should be in a dome where ever they have it.

Maybe the idea is to make 6-6 bowl teams suffer and strive to be better. 03-lmfao

I'd prefer Wrigley over Yankee Stadium.

Both cold ass venues, in baseball stadiums.

But as far as prestige goes, I'd take both of those venues for the conference over some of the much lesser games in random-ass places.

Pairing with the Big Ten in both is a positive too.

Why not in Minnesota at that monolith of a stadium? The Norse Bowl.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Minnesota was bidding for the NCG.

I hope they get it... give Bama fans something else to complain about besides UCF!

Again, I think it would be great to get a game either at FEDEX or the Nats stadium with B10 to replace Military. Move it up to Mid Tier. Then have Indy and HOD or AF vs B12 as last games. I would just like to remove bowl games with G5 tie-ins, I have no issue if they are back up.

Lets have more bowls in real football weather....up north in December. Perfect. Attending games in the snow and cold is a blast.

Says you and who else who doesn't live in Green Bay? There's a reason there are domed stadiums in places like Minneapolis, Indianapolis and Detroit.

If ND was playing, yeah.

I have been to a cold, snowy Sun Bowl in El Paso and a cold, rainy Independence Bowl in Shreveport because the Irish were playing.

So, a bowl in Chicago in the snow? Sure.

To see two teams I don't care about play? Heck no. That would be the case if the bowl were in Hawaii or Miami.

I was born/raised near Pittsburgh. I went to plenty of cold and snowy football games.

Those are the best to attend as a fan.
