Will the AAC "grind" better prepare the Shockers for the tournament? I don't know, but I doubt it. I have never seen the Shockers under Gregg Marshall give anything less than a One Shining Moment type performance in the Dance. Everybody seems to always find "another level". An argument can be made that a grueling conference season can actually hinder a team. Who knows the answer. We'll let this year's Shocker performance in the NCAA tournament speak for itself.

We're fairly injury-free, have a slight chip on our shoulder after Saturday, have several players who are looking to break out of slumps, and we'll likely be facing teams that have never seen us before. Our defense is suspect, but defense comes with effort. Our offense has never been this potent (with Shaq on the floor). I like our chances.

No Kentucky please.

Game On!
