They lined UH up with the most dangerous 11-seed of them all.

Not buying it. We just went toe-to-toe with a 2 seed today. This is the NCAA tournament, I'm sure Sampson will have the guys ready.

SDSU is gonna feel like wheaties fan after we're done with 'em.

Yeah, it doesn't mean they can't win, just that they got a bad draw.

You did get a bad draw, but a very winnable game. Maybe they are due for a slump.

Yeah it's winnable but they are rolling right now. Did you see what they did to Nevada? Any of the First Four winners would have been much better.

Per Pomeroy, Loyola, UCLA and Arizona St are better teams on the 11 line than San Diego St.

We got a great draw.

The 2 seed Carolina lost TEN games. Wichita is better than them.

The 3 seed Michigan is worse than Cincy.

And Xavier is the worst one seed.

If we play well, the sky is the limit.

I'm not to thrilled about it either but we just played two of the hardest teams 6 times arguably top 10 teams. We're prepared just have to show it and be on our game.

It's about match-ups.

Long and athletic teams cause our guards to have problems. Have you seen SDSU's length?

6-10" forward
6-10" forward
6-6" forward
6-4" guard
7-1" center off the pine
6-9" forward off the pine

Not saying we can't win, but I'd much rather have drawn a P5 scrub that we'd pound into submission (see Arkansas).

Are you serious??

Not only do I agree with KenPom about Loyola, UCLA, Arizona State but the Bonnies finished higher in a better conference. You'd rather play against Cuse and Boeheim rather than SDSU and their first year head coach?!

You're playing against the MWC #4! Great matchup! And it's right up the road!

First-year coach? LOl. He was Fisher's assistant coach at Michigan and San Diego State. He was a major part of the Fab 5 recruiting at Michigan. We did play and lose to ASU, but we have been suffering from injuries most of the season until now (Kell). We beat Nevada twice and Gonzaga.

I still wish we hadn't left the Big East, but things are looking up in that it looks like Gonzaga might join the Mountain West.

I don't know what to do with this? I mean what do you do with this? A reasonable SDSU fan take? I'm lost. . .

Good take 1976. I think Houston wins with their defense and rebounding. I'll let someone else give you in depth break down. Should be a good game.

I'm excited about the match up actually. Two great schools and a chance to redeem the football team. Now if we make it past SDSU, I'm extremely worried. That Michigan team was going to be one of my picks to win the whole thing.

I think I would leave out the part about being a major part of recruiting the Fab 5 given how that turned out.

That's great but do they factor in how a team is playing now or what kind of players they have on their team? I'm sure the numbers like Oklahoma and Arizona State better than a number of teams that would be far more dangerous if they got in.

Houston got the best draw of any 6 seed and a better draw then some 5 seeds (osu's first two games are brutal).

Link?

Aztecs have gotten hot at the right time. I still think UH has an edge. We shall see.
