BTW, Bradley is top 40 in RPI. That kind of surprised me.
Still no outs and a runner at second for the Knights.
RPI meaningless right now

WSU lost at Missouri, 9-4, in a game that wasn't that close.
WSU had numerous walks, HBP's, errors in what was a little league effort. Their first game against a team with a pulse and major league FAIL.

Yeah, UCF had a chance there in the bottom of the 11th and couldn't get the winning run past...

UCF has just won it 6-5 with a walk off line shot down the 3rd base side in the bottom of the 13th.
13 in a row. Going for 14 tomorrow night against the U. Big opportunity there, folks...

Except RPI, it's the dumbest thing ever. It's 25% W/L%, 50% opponent's W/L%, 25% opponent's-opponent's W-L record. So it's a full 75% SOS. You can literally loose every game and 75% of your RPI is still who you schedule (remaining 25% would equal 0).
Rating percentage index
This can give a horrible team in a good conference a big RPI.

No, the dumbest thing ever are locks on the doors to a 7-11 when they're open 24 hours....

Big test tonight against the U.
That said, in case anyone wasn't aware, since UCF is playing Miami, there will be a gun checkpoint prior to entering the ballpark.
If you don't have a gun, they give you one.

Pirates squeak by Elon 2-1 with a run in the 9th. Improve to 13-4. Three games with Maryland this weekend. Pirates are 1-1 this week.

Pirates have to win the series against Maryland, sweep would be mildly impressive

They beat VCU in Richmond, and went 2-1 against Byant. This could be a tough series.
