UCONN wins Game 3 at St Johns (3-1) to take the series, 2-1. Should look nice on the resume at the end of the year.

Huskies now 9-7 on the year. All away games.

WSU wins @ Creighton 7-4 to split the series at 1 apiece. This was supposed to be a 3 game series but Friday's game was cancelled.

WSU moves to 13-4.

Yup, no more Big 1G and SEC cupcakes. Playing real baseball teams now, not that P5 garbage.

Heavy sarcasm here . . Tired of false football attitude spreading to other sports. Baseball AAC is looking good keep it up 04-cheers

UC beat Toledo 9-8 to take the series 2 games to 1. UC is 9-10 on the year.

Talk about a weird game - Toledo pitchers walked 15 and hit 2 UC batters, and UC left 16 on base.

UC scored 4 runs in the first inning on 0 hits.

Houston goes 3-0 this weekend in a round-robin with New Mexico and Columbia.

We beat UNM on Friday and then Columbia Saturday-Sunday.

Coogs move to 11-8. Pitching is solid but we still can't hit.

Don't you already have almost as many road wins now as you had all last season?

Ucf is up 16-0 in the 5th.

Why did UCF schedule such poor weekend series?. Would be very hard for them to host a regional when they have no chances for quality series wins outside of conference play.
[/quote1st
Imo, it may be because there is Miami, Florida, and Florida state down here only.

Up in the Carolina's, there are more P5 schools closer by.

Add to the fact ucf pissed off a lot of people back in January 1s too.

The schedule would have been set before that.

I’m not even talking top 25s. Just solid programs like FIU, FAU, Stetson, Jacksonville, North Florida.

UCF has non conference series with Savannah State, Wagner, Siena, and Chicago State. Wagner is mediocre, the rest are terrible.

ECUs only in state series are UNC ,WCU, and UNCC. UNC is obviously top 25, and WCU is usually alright, not this year, but we are forever linked to them because of Keith LeClair anyway. UNCC is exactly the type of team everyone needs to be scheduling lots of, usually decent in a solid conference.

Well, I am not sure then. I know they have a home and home with Stetson but for whatever reason, they are not scheduling with FGCU, North Florida, Jacksonville, etc..

I know that they do have a 2 game series at FSU this week though.

A midweek series that is not what I am referring to. Anytime your quality wins are midweek victories you are probably in trouble.

We aren't a tournament team, Warren Nolan's model currently has us going 3-21 in AAC play. 03-puke
