I understand the logic of cheering for conference mates, but this idea that we are obligated to do so is horseshit. I'll cheer for or against whoever I want to regardless of what other people think and for whatever reason floats my boat.

I do hope that both Cincy, and Houston go on runs in the tourney but don't try and tell me that I have to cheer for them if I had decided differently.

if you really wanted to put WSU first, youd gather everyone at wichita to root houston...

we only have 3 teams in the tourney.. our tv deal ends in a little over a year..we will start negotiating soon, im sure you think having our teams knocked out early is going to help that cause. the aac is in a perception fight to prove we are legitimate, im sure losing early helps that.(and since you are new you probably arent aware but the mwc has been the most public conference against the aac, they say our leagues are the same, and should have the same value..they are getting 2mil per..we say thats not true, we are closer to the p5 and should get somewhat relative p5 money, im sure losing to their teams helps)

you are willing to hurt your immediate money (distribution), your future money (tv contact) and future recruiting to get a slight home edge on the a 13 seed marshall , who doesnt even travel well when you are a 4seed...without a single sdsu fan, wichita will outnumber marshall 100 to 1

i get a second round agreement..but the first is cutting off your own arms to get taller shows.. you are technically taller but have far less reach

im honestly just mocking you for even considering it (i dont think it will happen) but imagine if this alliance actually happened and houston lost because of it, when our leagues rep is still mainly kept afloat by a low seed aac team who won a national title. our league presidents would hate wsu
