Yep, he's been around....either planning or cheerleading, just about every budget busting deficit and bad regulatory decision during that time.

Then again, its pretty much Lyndie England time with Trump appointees. Meaning that the universe of competent and well reasoned people willing to work in his administration is getting really thin. So we will get some Lyndie level appointees. Kudlow is a circus sideshow of a financial advisor.

If you read the article, it says that McConnell could enter the nomination to the floor if he had the votes. It also notes that Murphy is denying that he's blocking the nomination.
