... I have Loyola-Chicago beating the Canes and going to the Sweet 16.

Vegas only has the Canes as a 1.5 pt favorite.

Me too. I was impressed when I saw them in their conference tournament. They have some horses.

What did Virginia do to piss off the committee? Not only do they draw the toughest #4 seed, but they are relegated to the graveyard shift on TNT for their opening game.

Duke is the only ACC team I have getting to the Elite 8. I have them getting to the Championship game (against Arizona), but having to get through Michigan State, Kansas and Purdue along the way. That's a tough row to hoe.

Nobody did the ACC any favors this year IMO.

Well Loyola is certainly getting a lot of help from the refs. Horrible series of calls in the last 3 minutes. Rebound off Ramblers to Loyola somehow, then really horrible fouls called. Refs trying to give them a win.

Does Seton Hall see their game with NC State as Big East vs. ACC?

We knew Loyola-Chicago was going to be a tough out.

No idea what to expect from Alabama/Virginia Tech

Just a fantastic way to end the year for UM but expected. Sucks that refs threw the game to Loyola though.

Yes, I definitely see it like that. Pirates all the way baby (am a SHU season ticket holder). I can't tell you how important it is for the Hall to have Rodriguez back. He's such an impact player - and it's obvious so far with a 10 point halftime lead. Really on fire today from all sides. NC State is no pushover though; I'm expecting a battle in the second half.

Yeah not so much. Refs didn't impact the final minutes, the Ramblers just hit the final shot.

This was probably the most popular upset pick from #12-16 seeds and for good reason. I waffled on it before taking Loyola for two reasons... Miami was dead last in ACC (sub-300 nationwide) on free throws yet somehow 8-1 in games decided by five or less. History shows that stat is more luck than skill so I figured we could see regession to the mean.

Sure enough, up 1 with nine seconds left, Miami misses the front end of a 1 and 1 before losing on the buzzer beater.

I do have Loyola bowing out Sat. to the Vols.

Oh yea, it was definitely Lonnie Walker who lost the game for the Canes. Bad turnover then missing FTs.

Alabama plays either 3 rungs over their head or 3 rung below and you never know which one it's going to be. If Sexton is hot the Hokies are in for a challenge. If all of them start missing shots early, it will stay that way the whole night. So flip a coin as to which they will be.

Definitely a Jekyll/Hyde team. They came through last night. It was a great game, VT and Bama both played a great game!

I didn't like Robinson though, not a fan.

Thanks for recognizing. After the uproar that we got in. The Cuse keeps limping by, but I dont know how long it will last.

I'd say we look like geniuses, except that I had Arizona going all the way.

What's up is they were beaten in just about every phase of the game by A&M. But the ACC will get one back on the SEC. I don't know what is up internally with Auburn, but against Charleston Southern, against Alabama in the SEC tournament, and now today they simply have had no intensity, Harper plays like he just doesn't care, and they aren't helping each other on the floor. Something's up in the locker room.

But Clemson has played well all year so despite Auburn's lack of effort they will deserve to advance anyway.

BTW: A most impressive showing thus far by Syracuse. Congratulations guys!

And as for A&M don't let their record fool you. They had 3 suspensions to start the year (multiple games involved too) and then had some mid season injuries. They are just now back up to full strength with the bigs and it shows.

Three out of four in the MW regional. Let's make it an all ACC regional final. Go Tigers! Take out the Jayhawks!
