Don't know how anyone could hate Dan. The press is eating him up because he actually is genuine, says what he thinks, tells the truth, and is funny. I've never heard him coach speak.

Agree. Love a coach like this that gives his players all the credit and takes blame when they fail.

Marshall is my 2nd favorite team in this conference and if Western couldn't win the bid I was happy for Marshall. Love the system he plays and all the underrated talent this man brings in. Don't know how he does it...puts me in mind of Andy Griffith when he talk....down to earth country boy. You wouldn't think that would go over very well in todays game.

Didn't really know much about him till I listened to Marshall's pregame and after game interview a couple years ago when we went to Marshall for the Western game. Seemed like a man you would want your son to play for.


Bob pruett was like that, too
