Coach Sampson has proven he can put Houston basketball back in the National spot light something we miss dearly.

Houston imo has to be aggressive now and sign coach Sampson long term.

Ugh.

I couldn't post until now. So proud of these guys. They really came together as a team in a trying year with the Hurricane, the clothing/shoe drive, and then having so many new pieces.

It sucks to lose a game that should have been yours. I really feel for Davis. We was 9-9 on FTs until those last 4. He was gassed by being our only "big" the last few minutes of the game.

As a big picture person we really needed that win. A sweet 16 run would have really helped sell the new venue. Hopefully people buy in. The city really seemed to take note the last two weeks as if the team had suddenly just appeared.

Crazy to think that two games into the season we were 1-1 with a loss to Drexel.

You are fine. Just hold onto Sampson.

Pro cities tend to have fickle fans. Is what it is.

I'm not here to pile on, but....... free throws.

And I'm inclined to agree with the others that have said - how do you not put someone in front the of the guy throwing the in bounds pass? He threw a strike but that was just too easy.

Shouldn’t have mattered. Defend the damned stationary inbounder and don’t let him relax and wind up and throw an overhand baseball pitch on a line to the guy near midcourt. Make him throw it up for grabs or inbounds on the run near the end line.

They did against San Diego State and he had a much, much easier shot to win and it almost went in.

Houston made a good hire with Samson. He's not perfect, but he lets his kids play and show off their talents. With a refurbished arena, I think Houston is a much more attractive destination for recruits than it was a few years ago.

In big cities is all about ratings

When the home teams are having success all tv networks want a piece of the action so do radio shows... And if the so called home team has the homes name on its jersey the better.

Houston folks for example were just warming up to what UH was steering to bad we lost the way we did but definitely got people's and recruits attention for next season.
