Men's 2018 NCAA Tournament Updates.....
Texas A&M just destroyed defending National Champion and 2018 NCAA Tournament #2 seed North Carolina 86-65. And it wasn't that close. BLEW THEM OUT! Coach Billy Kennedy's 7th seed A&M team looks really good. I mean, Final Four good.
BTW, this was N. Carolina Coach Roy Williams' worst margin of defeat ever in an NCAA Tournament game.

Couldn't have happened to a better "university" or bunch of fans.

With 7:48 left in the game, #9 seed Kansas St leads #16 Cinderella UMBC, 34-33.

Only 7 of the 16 #1-4 seeds survive to the Sweet Sixteen.

It sucks that Syracuse is still in it for the sheer fact that they are excruciatingly boring to watch. That game against MSU yesterday was a shitfest

I totally disagree. The Syracuse-Michigan St basketball game was one of the best games in the tournament, so far. Both teams were very physical. How in the world did you not like that? Syracuse, playing their 3rd game in 5 days battled back and took the lead very late.
Then you got to see Jim Boeheim, one of the all-time best coaches, at work. Before the game, a coaching question was posed to Boeheim: "if you have a 3 point lead with 5 seconds left, and the other team gets the ball, what do you do? Do you foul 'em and put 'em on the line, or do you make 'em drive the length of the court and shoot the 3?"
Without hesitation, Boeheim said, "I ALWAYS foul 'em".
Lo and behold, with 8 seconds remaining in the Syracuse-MSU game, Boeheim was in this exact position....TWICE, and did exactly what he said he always does. He fouled 'em. And MSU could never catch up.

Just because it was close doesn't mean it was a great game. It was awful to watch and horribly boring.
It did do well to seal the fact that jump shooting is a lost art, especially mid-range jumpers. Klank, brick, brick, klank, brick, klank.

Did you really even watch the game? It was a physical showdown. Some of the best rebounding and physical contact you'll ever see. Maybe you should just watch a free throw shooting contest instead.
By the way....the other game I saw that was real good was TX A&M's beatdown of North Carolina. WOW! TX A&M looks like a Final Four team.

.
This was just one game, every team in the field left has had at least one game where they played like crap and not always in November either. Texas A&M has lost twice to a mediocre LSU team, and got pummeled at Arkansas.
This year is the most unpredictable one ever, I think, anyone of the teams left can win it just about. It would be no shock if A&M comes out and loses to Michigan by double digits.

That would be awesome but they might do away with the auto bids if that happens.
