Why? UConn isn't paying Ollie to go away ---- correct?

Way worse at Pitt. Not super familiar with UCONN's sanctions though.

I think he ends up at UCONN. At Pitt, he starts from scratch. There's talent at UCONN, it's a better program than URI and Pitt, but if it's about the $$$ then I could see Pitt. Short sighted though as ultimately it will be much harder to succeed there.

there is that I just screwed over the last coach thing UCONN has going for them. So who knows?

I myself hope he chooses UCONN.

As someone who lives here in SC, I personally think you guys can do better. They did have a great year last year but he has been to 1 NCAA tournament in 6 years, and it's not like SC doesn't invest in their programs. He is below .500 in SEC and several of their own fans complain about him missing out on recruits. I think UConn is one of the top jobs out there, you can do better than Martin.

I have no clue, I hope not. Just wanted to give my opinion on Martin since I'm surrounded by S. Carolina fans.

No. But there are serious doubts. Apparently UCONN has a Plan B (who may be Martin). Plan C is Calhoun.

What about someone like Ed Cooley? He's done well at Providence but UConn would be a step up.

Congrats guys, looks like you won the Hurley sweepstakes. I think he's going to be a good one for you and get you back where your program belongs!
