Fox, ESPN, CBS TV early announcements for CFB season
Saw Fox announce a few football games today with their up fronts....
Texas/Oklahoma October 6
Michigan/Michigan St October 20
Michigan/Ohio St November 24
Looking at the Big Ten the home OOC schedule doesn't look so great- so wouldn't be surprised if ESPN gets as their top 2 choices Ohio St/Penn St and Ohio St/Michigan St.

Ohio St-Penn St seems like a no-brainer.
The Big Ten got a provision in their TV contracts that the networks can't move a November game to nighttime unless the teams agree. ESPN, presumably, wouldn't use one of its top picks on Ohio St-Mich St (Nov. 10) unless the schools agree to play the game in east coast prime time. Another attractive Nov. 10 game is Wisconsin-Penn St -- Wisconsin's schedule is (again) so soft that as long as the Badgers win at Michigan, they should be 9-0 when they kickoff at Penn St.

they might be ok not moving it to prime time. Why? NBC has that night Florida St/Notre Dame in prime time. So get the 1st choice of games that week and be able to choose whichever is stronger between Ohio St/Mich St or Wisconsin/Penn St(up to 6 days prior to game day).

No rush. Haven't even had fresh corn, local watermelons, or my asswipe neighbor complain about fireworks yet.
*I'm long past fireworks shooting but I root for the fireworks kids long as they stop on the 4th.

They start the fireworks the weekend before the 4th and go until the weekend after in my neighborhood. I too am long past setting them off. My youngest is 28 but my grandkids love them.
I judge how good the 4th was by how much fireworks debris I get into my pool. The more stuff I'm cleaning out of my pool, the better the 4th is. I can handle that.

I don't mind the fireworks, but in my neck of the woods it's the gunfire that lasts all night that bothers me. I won't even let my dogs out of the house until those guys sober up.

I want it to come. I'm at the age when I can do without summer, LOL. Loved it as a kid and young adult, now it's just months of baking heat with nothing to redeem it.
And loads of baseball, endless days of baseball, LOL.

The number of ESPN3 games are dwarfed by the number of ESPN+ games. Overall, excellent job getting every game on a solid reliable platform. No more CUSA Digital Networks only football games.
