Their conference is down this year with only three playoff teams. The third team in barely beat Lamar last weekend. We talk about the CAA being not as good as advertised. What has the MVC done for anyone to say it is the top conference this year?
NDSU lost their stud LB who was in on almost every play at the NC last year to graduation. I think they also had at least one really good d lineman graduate too. On offense, #25 was their best playmaker and he graduated too. Maybe they received the benefit of playing in a weakened MVC this year. I honestly don’t think they are a better team than last year. Neither are we.
I thought JMU was three touchdowns better than NDSU last year but we had a near UNH game against them and still only lost by 4 points. Should we advance to play them and play a mistake free game, I am convinced we can beat them by a couple of touchdowns even in the dome.
I remember the 2011 team that went to Fargo and gave them a game. That team was no where near as good as this years JMU team. I think good competition and big games bring out the best in our players and staff. I just hope we can advance past Colgate to get another shot at NDSU.
At this point, they still have the opportunity to be the best team in their history and that's saying something. The only game they had that was close was to arguably the 2nd best team in the nation. 35-0 versus Delaware at half. National Champs return 16 starters including Stick. Are they beatable? - yes, but they are clearly better than last year, and we have not so far played better than last year. Gotta get by Colgate first. Then we need some Houston big game magic, but gotta get through Colgate first. Colgate will be like the Lehigh game in 2004.
If we lost to Lehigh, no NC in 2004, and perhaps no stadium expansion, and no Houston. As Houston frequently says "I'll be happy if we win by 1 point".

Can we talk about this? Why the eff does our playcalling change so much game to game? I Honestly think we try to put as little on film as possible.
I dont know if its about film or whats going through DKs head but its amazing how much things change game to game. Even at UNH before things turned to **** we opened up with a flea flicker for a big gain on the first drive which we havent seen all year. Then delaware we go back to the conservative approach. As long as we win thats fine but I can see Houston calling the Colgate game conservative as well and making it a field position battle. He seems to get an idea in his mind during the week of what the game we be like and calls the game to that.

What about post game on a message board
It annoys me way less on here. At the game, good god, if I never hear that guy standing in the walkway between 300's & 400's curse DK again, it will be too soon.
