The 5 INT and ???? What is this imaginary 6th turnover that people keep referring to?

Don’t feel like creating a new thread for this but I put on the SDSU vs Kennesaw game and wow are those stands empty. Looks like pretty bad weather but come on.

Not to mention one of the 5 was a Hail Mary with a few seconds left before the half. That situation is a pick at least 50% of the time, just rolling the dice for possible points. 4 INT is still bad though.

Thus why the Kennesaw coach rants so much, he is clearly putting his heart and soul into winning, and feels bad for the players.
My only hang up with that guy is he may be too deeply ingrained in the triple option to give it up. Many years at Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Navy - all triple option.

The tackling in this game is pretty bad too.

35-0 shutout. About what I expected. Their QB is not good enough to compete against NDSU and even before Hollands was getting checked out on the sideline (when I stopped watching) they just weren't giving him the ball. They needed to get it to him in space and Rocket with outs or over the top, but they didn't. Couldn't even break one play for a TD. Abysmal showing by Colgate.
SDSU looks good, but without NDSU making mistakes, I don't think they're good enough to take the Bizen down.

Yeah if NDSU losses, it’s because they committed a TON of mistakes. Shy of that, they’re going to just hoist another trophy.

If It had been JMU it would have been 18.7k or whatever their capacity is sellout. Don't think Colgate gets their fanbase's juices flowing..

They’ve had many games this season that didn’t sell out. It’s a trend now.

We don't come near filling our place up for home playoff games. Seems kind of hypocritical to poke fun at others.
But, just one idiot's opinion of course...

I normally wouldn’t care but their fans attack other fan bases constantly so its hilarious when they’re falling victim to the same problem.
Couldn’t happen to a better fan base.

I don't get it. Is there anything better to do in Fargo in December. JMU fans generally stay for the entirety of the game. It's the students who get there late and leave early because they're too cool or something like they have anything better to do in the middle of a Saturday. Our fans also don't turn out when it gets cold. Just a fact. NDSU being in a dome doesn't have that factor.

For some, it's a fairly long walk from their igloo to the dome.

Despite how nice NDSU fans are and generous with their food and drink..and knowledgeable about the game...Its funny how much they talk about the cold...and find it to be a point of pride....and then play in epcot center

Despite 7 home games, they sold out/or were very close, every game regular season game (18k+ is a sellout). They have lagged in the playoffs a little so far.
Cal Poly: 18,483
N Alabama: 18,557
UD: 18,883
SDSU 18,846
ILSU: 18,553
YSU: 18,028
SIU: 18,008
Mt St 17,007
Colgate: 16,404
Guaranteed SDSU semis will be a sellout. Brookings to Fargo is only 190 miles (I've driven it).

Yeah, they are the worst. Bison fans come here and are treated with respect. Go to their board and see what happens. It is one insult after another.
One thing is certain, however - JMU lives rent-free in the heads of every Bison fan. We are mentioned in many of their threads and they even have threads we are the subject of, like this one.... http://www.bisonville.com/forum/showthre...sty-moment

When you read posts like that it really shines a light on the types of people who are NDST fans and just what their daily lives are like. In the end you just kind of feel bad for them.
Remember, these are people with nothing. They live in North Dakota. There is nothing there but basically the one football team that is the center of their universe. Without their string of championships, the suicide rate there would likely be through the roof.
When you read their posts, think about the movie Fargo. It's pretty depressing actually. Which is also a reason I am starting to support a quicker jump to FBS. Even if the JMU - NDST "rivalry" continued, I'm not sure Id want our program associated with theirs.
Oh yaaaah, yuuu betcha!

The above is one of the most east coast centric posts I have seen in a while.
Their message board fans can be aholes but their actual fans are great. Spent the weekend in Fargo and had a great time.

This times 1000. They are kind of like Bama fans, the only thing that makes them relevant is that they root for a sports team from a school they probably couldn't get into that wins a lot, and they are afraid that this will go away and they will fall back to being nobodies that they are with the rest of their life.
For every "nice" or "cool" NDSU fan I met in Frisco there were at least two others who were braggadocios pricks. I thought the YSU fans were actually more tolerable, at least the ones I met and shared a drink with.
