Interestingly, FAU now has two running backs drafted this year. Kerrith Whyte, Jr has now been drafted by the Bears in the 7th round.

Marshall shutout of draft again. I'm kind of tired of hearing what a great recruiter Doc is. If his recruiting prowess is so great why are we placing at least two every year in the NFL draft?

Is that true?

All North Texas players shown as active on NFL roster's are undrafted free agents, so I believe so. I don't think North Texas boasts their coach is a great recruiter. Doc recruits talent good enough to stay competitive but he's not bringing the players who demonstrate ability to play at next level thus the long drought in draft picks.

Unfortunately it is true. I believe Cody Spencer in 2004 was the last. We have had lots of guys do well in the NFL but lately they have all had to come up as Undrafted Free Agents. We had 5 more sign free agent deals after the draft ended and two others that were invited to mini camps.
