This is a very important series. I think that if we can take 2 from them it will greatly improve our chances of making the NCAA tourney without having to win the C-USA tourney.

I hope our weather holds because I think this might be the weekend that I take in my first Cougar baseball game.

Eat'em up Coogs!!!!

I sure hope we can win... and I hope it does beef up the chances at an at-large tournament spot. Of course, I wouldn't mind winning the C-USA tourney just to be on the safe side. :D

Have fun at the game (enjoy a brewski for me... it rocks, that UH sells 04-drinky at the games) and may the Coogs win big! 04-rock

The Coogs win the first game of the series 3-2. This officially puts an end to Tulane's chances of sharing in the regular season championship. This victory also makes our record above .500 for the first time in a long time this season. Let's ride the wave to two more victories.

Thanks for the help by knocking them out of the chase, but we really didn't need it.

Good win Coogs! See if you can get two more! :ecu:

Way to go Coogs!! Looks like it is another tough victory for the baseball team. If I remember correctly, these were the type of games we were losing earlier in the season. Coach Rayner has really whipped this team into shape. Let's hope its not too little too late for making the NCAAS. It is going to be very tough to win the C-USA tourney.

Baseball took it on the chin in the final game against Tulane on Saturday. I was actually able to take in the first 7 innings of this game and I must say I had some fun. It was nice being able to chat with other Houston fans while watching the game.
