Coaches Poll: Hofstra is Above Washington
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/rankings has the Coaches Poll. Hofstra has 13 points. Washington and Arizona State are tied for the Pac-12 lead with 11 points. I don't have a way of finding out, but it must be one of the first times the top CAA team has ever been above the top Pac-12 or Pac-10 team. The AP does not make a postseason poll. After making the 2006 Final Four, George Mason was 8th in the final Coaches Poll, but UCLA was 2nd. After making the 2011 Final Four, VCU was 6th in the final Coaches Poll and ahead of every Pac-12 team. In the NET, Washington is 38th, Arizona State is 67th, and Hofstra is 68th.

Do you think the PAC will get 2 if Washington wins their auto bid

ESPN, CBS Sports, and NBC Sports have Arizona State in, while Fox Sports has them as the third team out. We'll never know what who would have gotten in if games had gone differently, but it might be where Arizona State gets an at-large bid only if they lose to Washington.

I'm guessing ASU gets in unless they lose in the first round.

Unfortunately agree. Arizona State to me is a fringe team at best, but I cannot see the committee only putting 1 team in from a major conference. Just like I cannot see them putting 2 SoCon teams in, even if they deserve it this season. I would actually argue Washington should not be that safe either. They beat nobody. All of the best teams they played, they lost to (Auburn, Minnesota, Gonzaga, Virginia Tech, Arizona State). They even have the bad loss of Cal. They are the epitome of a power conference scheduling well OOC, losing all of those games, and being rewarded for being in a power conference. 2 of those losses are to other fringe teams (Minnesota and Arizona State). If we are not going to reward mids for piling up wins over nobodies, we should do the same to major conferences too. @Oregon is their best win. Oregon is 61st in the NET and is not a tournament team.

This is how I see it too. ASU has a few very good wins (Kansas, Utah State, Miss St) with some bad losses (Princeton, Vanderbilt). They are actually experiencing a bit of a mid major type of bubble resume. While Washington is exactly as you described..
If they get 3 teams in I swear...

The better question could definitely be if Washington or ASU lose to say Oregon, Arizona, Utah, Colorado etc do they get 3 or does ASU get the boot? Would they give a major conference winner a seed of 12 or worse like they do almost every mid? I am sure I am biased, but this season I would take any of the top 4 SoCon teams over any Pac12 team.
