Got a friend driving in from Nashville who’ll be here in a hour. Wife has said she’ll DD and let us get wild! Leaving for Beale as soon as he arrives.

Between FedEx Forum and Bridgestone Arena, there’s some big time basketball being played in the state of Tennessee today. Not to mention, Wiseman and East are playing for AAA state championship in Murfreesboro today.

I left Nashville yesterday morning at 5:30 to get here and I’ve had an alcoholic beverage in hand ever since. My buddy fired up the green egg last night. Good times.

I’ll take this one. It was only a few years ago 2016 when a 24 win Temple team was left out, to the shock of pundits everywhere. It can and does happen. If we get in, great; if not, it is 100% on us for blowing the opportunity against Wichita last night. But pessimism and skepticism as a Temple and American fan is well earned.

i would put the blame on Temple losing and not on WSU winning F'ing up the conference.

wsu did what every team plans on doing when they play and that is win. you can't blame them. Temple is a horrible on/off team and the reason the conference may get F-d up like you say.

I agree. It wasn't Wichita's job to lose to get Temple in. Unfortunately we're more than likely going to lose a bid now. Memphis or Wichita is our only chance of getting the fourth bid back.

Dennis is a all League or better player by the end of his career.

Echenique is a solid big and midtgaard is getting there. Poor Bear needs conditioning and discipline but reminds me a lot of young Shaq Morris. Big but mobile. I'll gladly take another Shaq.

Stevenson and Burton are a consistent shot away from being top level league players.

Add in Teddy Allen and a few good recruits coming in and we definitely have reason to be hopeful to be challenging for the top.

I see them out eating wherever I go--Gus's, Uncle Lou's, Central BBQ, Cozy Corner. Even saw a couple out at Bryant's on Summer.

I hope you all had fun. Easy drive. Because of my work, this was my first trip to Memphis for this season. Every time I drive in, I get a smile on my face. It’s always like seeing an old friend.
