According to the reporter Berry hasn’t announced tomorrow’s starter just yet

I can’t see a world where Powell doesn’t start.

Powell definitely starting. No errors, and hit the ball and we can beat this LSU team.

Just depends on which Powell shows up. Does MSU Powell or UTSA Powell come to play?

So today’s pretty much, “Let’s just get home and let those other guys lose to LSU tonight,” huh?

Was there.... and was AWESOME. Hopefully we can have a pitcher step up big and get to see several LSU pitchers tonight.

Tough game. Kids did USM proud. Bad decision bringing in Wright. Couldn't believe he did that. May be playing tomorrow otherwise. More than one LSU fan said if it went to a Monday championship, they thought USM would win.

RE: In the Baton Rouge Regional
Considering how the year went, even with all of our personal disappointment that we couldn’t make it through Baton Rouge, this team overachieved. A very inconsistent team that seemed to figure things out a bit late. Not sure what we’ll have next year, but I assume we’ll only lose Wallner from the Juniors. That means a weekend rotation of Powell, Shepherd, and one more. Would love for Josh Lewis to use last night as a catapult into an excellent 2020, but I thought Strickland was gonna do that this year after his CUSA Championship performance. Not sure how the talent coming in will translate, but hopefully we’ll be better.

I am proud of the guys too. Would we have gotten the home series against FSU or would we have gone to them in the Super Regional?

We were both three seeds with acceptable stadiums, so it would have been up to the ncaa to flip a coin (or take FSU’s bribe).

It would have been FSU. They'd have beaten the higher National Seed, plus had the storyline of Mike Martin's last year. NCAA would have never let us have it over them.

there's always around the rules but from NCAA website:

Super Regionals are played at eight locations throughout the country and consist of the 16 surviving teams, matched up by predetermined regional pairings. National seeds 1-8 cannot meet each other in the super regional and are guaranteed to host. If the higher national seed in the bracket is eliminated in the regional stage, but the lower national seed advances, the super regional will be played at the national seeded team's field. If the two seeds are not national seeds, the Super Regional will be bid upon by the two competing teams. If the national seed wins the regional but is unable to host, the Super Regional is awarded to the other regional winner in its bracket.

That was the best post season I have ever watched. Very entertaining. Not to mention how impressive it was that we went to the 9th inning with LSU at the Box twice. That is the most hostile baseball environment in college baseball and we held our own. I will also say that Gabe was our Player of the year in my opinion. The kid can play.
