That's not really how it's often done.

There's a camp that disagrees with the gay lifestyle and is very overt about it. There's also a camp that think straight people suck and is also very overt about that while seeking acceptance.

People love to rail about some tolerance but are not tolerant themselves. The notion of tolerance is stupid anyway. As if the one being tolerated is lesser somehow. Let's just be equal.

Remember back when Bellsouth decided that as part of our compliance training we had to be indoctrinated in the ways of the left by supporting those three pillars of leftspeak and thought, tolerance, diversity and inclusion.

I remember being made to feel like less of a person for questioning those tenets. Tolerance is rarely ever equally applied. Tolerance: I have to tolerate your gayness but there is no tolerance for my being anti-homosexual. Diversity: I need to embrace multiculturalism because according to the left we are all better off with a diluted population, nevermind that most of the rest of the world, at least up until the idiots started importing other cultures, were largely homogeneous. Hows that working out for most of Europe? Inclusion: I have to include you in everything while you get to exclude me from anything because my tolerance levels are low.

Who the hell speaks for me anymore? Why can't I (go as far as to) hate queers? ( I don't HATE anyone but should have that freedom.) That doesn't mean I want to go kill or maim one, it doesn't mean I want them treated any differently, better or worse, than I.

Why do we have to walk on eggshells? My brother's "partner" has no job, sits around and plays video games all day, and stares at his phone the whole time everyone is together. Can you imagine if my sister was with someone like that? But because their situation is gay, we are expected to not do anything about it or else my brother might kill himself or something (and we also can't suggest he is mentally I'll because he is gay).
