Rick Stockstill said during a radio interview a few weeks ago that Brent was offered a contract with Calgary in the CFL but turned it down and decided to go into coaching instead.

According to one of our posters Brent will be on Lane Kiffin's staff this year.

Love Brent! But Lane Kiffin?! Hard to believe Li'l Stock didn't give the CFL a shot; but it may have been his battered body. And, think one day he'll be a HC. Now, why'd he select The Lane Train in the first step of his coaching career? Surely, the kid had a bunch of other offers to be an assistant coach. Maybe, Lane's gonna show him how to hit on those co-eds down at the beach.

Good for him!

I believe that Stockstill was older than Doughty when he finished his career.

I believe we can agree that Doubty and Brent were oth closer to being eligible to join AARP at the end of their collegiate careers than they were to being eligible for Kindergarten.
