My garden is small this year. We had a soul crushing late freeze this year and lost almost everything. One Peach tree doing alright because it hadnt blossomed yet when the freeze hit and my Chili Pequins dont care about the weather so they are doing great.
Garden is doing pretty good. We have had a lot of rain so didn't get to plant my 2nd garden this year. Well I planted it but most of it rotted in the ground.
Corn, green beans, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers is all I have this year. Trying not to be disappointed and consider myself blessed with what the good Lord has blessed us with.
My garden is doing great! Well, not exactly my garden, but the farmer's I have on staff. Okay, not exactly my staff, but more like the produce market near my house. That garden is doing great and I am enjoying somebody's hard work.
mturn lives in the woods, surrounded by mighty oaks not crepe myrtles, and doesn’t get the sun to do a lot of summer vegetables but enjoy the early season veggies like fresh lettuce and sugar snap peas. We do have a cucumber plant that’s producing some nice pickling cukes, a grape tomato plant that is coming on and a couple basils that should be of decent size by the end of summer
No garden this year due to a newborn and a busy schedule. I did add my first hive of bees in April and they are thriving. Probably won't take any honey as I want them to be stronger going into winter but next year, we should be looking at 50-60 lbs. out of that hive.

Per the early 70's rock group, "The Rascals (as to the stuff we plant around our property) "Ain't it Beautiful?" Except when you plant, water, dig 'em up and tend to 'em. Too far north to have them year round, but at our place we are all about Banana Trees, Elephant Ears, and Flowers. Way too damn lazy to plant a vegetable garden. Used to grow tomatoes, peppers, squash, and zuchini, too. Easier to go buy those at Farmer's Market or Grocery Store.
