One thing Western, has not faced since game one, a fasted paced offense, that has the ability to throw and run the ball. I think Western plays stop the run and tries to make your QB beat us. The UNCC qb is INT prone but if he limits turnovers I think this game could go either way.
This Western offense has not shown it can put over 21 points on the board. Moves the ball but something changes once we get inside the 30.
All it really took was 3 passes for Central Arkansas to beat Western...connected on 21 but 3 beat us. So this will be the first test against a offense that runs and passes and can put points on the board. The start of this game is going to be very important, for both teams....
confidence could cause this game to turn

Charlotte hasn’t shown an ability to keep 21 of the board.....in a half.

Other than this Friday's Marshall at FAU game, the next big game in the East is November 2nd: When FAU visits WKU.

In this thread I see more sandbagging by Charlotte fans who beat us something like 48-3 last year than your normal Middle Tennessee Championship Level Sandbaggers in their weekly threads.

Ya'll gonna get your revenge in this one. No one is Niner Nation thinks we have a legit shot at winning this one unless your entire first string gets the flu. We recognize the holes we have on both sides of the ball now and realize that we don't match up.

They have about a dozen outdoor tables, and they will bring water and treats for your pup. It's not far from where you are staying on Scottsville Rd.
Double Dogs
Smokey Bones and Mister B's are also dog friendly. These are both on Scottsville Rd. too.
Mister B's
Must see sights while in Bowling Green.... I would recommend go to Nashville. Just kidding. Mammoth Cave, is probably the top attraction about 30 minute drive north of where you are staying. Right in town, as already mentioned is Lost River Cave, Corvette museum, and if you are into trains there is a train museum. Chaney's Dairy barn is a local favorite or you could just hang out for a bit on Fountain Square in the center of town. Both of these are dog friendly too.
I would also recommend White Squirrel Brewery. Great beer and decent food. They have outdoor seating as well although I'm not sure about dogs. You could call ahead and see. White Squirrel Brewery
Having been to UNCC's campus I think it is by far the prettier campus of the two. Much greener than WKU. I mean you have a friggin botanical garden on campus. Having said that, a walk around the top of the "hill" on campus shouldn't be missed. It has some amazing views, especially this time of year.
Any other food recommendations in the Bowling Green area? We are visiting from Charlotte and not bringing our dog.
What’s your flavor, Bowling Green has a ton of choices
I would prefer to checkout a place that is unique to the area.
White Squirrel Brewery
643 Sports Bar and Grill
Gerard's Tavern
Hickory and Oak
Steamer Seafood
440 Main
Montana Grille
Mariah's
All unique to Bowling Green and all good food. Best atmosphere and cold beer you can find will be at Double Dogs though.
Really good list here. All but Montana Grille are located in the “downtown” area. That’s my top recommended area for visitors as I think it shows BG’s charm very well. Walkable, with plenty of local establishments. I highly recommend dinner at Hickory and Oak followed by drinks at Micki’s on Main (locals just call it 440, as it is a bar adjacent to 440 Main restaurant). I think both will give you a good feel for BG. H&O is the best steakhouse in town, so prices will fall accordingly. Gerard’s Tavern would be my recommendation if H&O is out of your price range. Great food at a more reasonable price point, but still a good BG vibe.

I definitely second the suggestions here. The revitalization of downtown in recent years has made it a wonderful area.

Don't see us winning this one unless by some grace of dios we suddenly find a defense.

With our injuries and the complete lack of defense we like to trot on the field, I don't see this one going our way. WKU has looked strong since Week 1 and with their ability to move it up and down the field all day, I say WKU by 2 TDs.
