It is week 8 in the world of CFB time for my picks. I prognosticated very well last week end. Guessed the Marshall - ODU margin right on the money and was within 4 points on 4 other games.

6:30PM Marshall (3-3) @ FAU (4-2) CBSSN - Marshall has not impressed this season and FAU has started to surge. Look for FAU by 12.

3:30PM USM (4-2) @ LaTech (5-1) NFL - Best match up of the weekend. USM has 4 wins and LaTech has 5 wins but USM wins look better, so I am picking the Golden Eagles for a road win by 7.

4:00PM MTSU (2-4) @ UNT (2-4) NoTV - A flip of the coin decides this one. Both teams have disappointed their fans. I'll give North Texas the slight edge since they are the home team. Mean Green by 9.

4:00PM ODU (1-5) @ UAB (5-1) ESPN+ - ODU has struggled to score points while UAB has done well in that area but against a soft schedule. That being said look for the Blazers to roll by 17.

4:00PM Charlotte (2-4) @ WKU (4-2) ESPN+ - Charlotte embarrassed the Toppers last fall but that was with Boy Blunder, Tyson Helton is a better coach and the Hilltoppers are in Bowling Green. WKU by 14.

6:00PM Rice (0-6) @ UTSA (2-4) ESPN3 - Rice might be the best winless team in the country and the Road Runners have struggled with offense, especially passing. So look for the Owls to earn their first W of the season by 9.

7:00PM UTEP (1-4) @ FIU (3-3) ESPN+ - The Golden Panthers have turned the corner and have been playing at a new level. UTEP has one FCS win and that is it. Look for FIU to roll by 24.
