yall were in desperate need of 3 to end to end the game..newton looking for the shot runs a corner screen to try and get a corner-ish 3..navy sells out on defending him with a double..he passes the ball top of the arc to a wide open baruti.. he was looking left and right (despite being wide open) for someone to pass too..navy defender not closing out ..they were fine with him shooting
my friends who have no clue who baruti is, were taking about that being someone who doesn't want to be blamed for the outcome of the game ..and trying to defer...
Listen. You and your friends should never hang out and watch ECU basketball. It’s not right and it’s not American.

Semi OT:
Tulane WBB comes back down big to UW on the road and wins 64-62. Quality win, but Tulane will still need to reach 22 or so total wins if we intend to make our 2nd women's tourney since joining the American.

I know our opponent was not someone to bragg about but man what a sick awesome performance by our entire team.
This could be a special year for Houston
something that really intrigues me is what our potential rebounding numbers this year will be..
sa,mpson has said we'll be a better rebounding team than last year..we were a top 10 rebounding team last year
the 4 international scrimmages
+32 rebounding margin-- (22 offensive rebounds)
+21-- 12 --{only 3 quarters played}
+16-- 20
+22-- 21
and yesterday
+26-- 15
context: +7 avg would put you top 10 nationally
figuring out the 3pt/spreading the floor is still a worry, even though we shot lights out last night
i know we play Oregon in 2 weeks, but the potential Washington game in December excites me the most as its the literally definition of a match-up nightmare for us..they are the best zone team in the nation..
2 6'6 guards in front, 3 6'9+ bigs in the back (2 of which are 5star)..they outsize our big guards, they run a zone so youll need 3pt shooting and they have dominant post scorers vs our smaller bigs..on paper they win every matchup..that game will address this teams flaws if we can win that ....
