2019 Cure Bowl Full Game.

So, did we ever determine how many fans Liberty took? Tweren’t that many. But kuddos to our fans that did rep! Well done!!

Ticket office reps said that sales exceeded 4,000. I met a few groups of LU fans that bought their tickets from other online sites. My guess is 5K would be a safe estimate with an unlikely maximum of 7K. Great turnout for a first bowl game with less than 2 weeks notice. It’s a good foundation for future bowl games.

If you ask Georgia Southern fans, we brought nobody. If you ask anyone else, we brought several thousand.

Announced attendance was around 18K. There may have been more GASO fans, but the views from TV and pics, it looked even. Not bad for both schools when you consider 2 weeks notice and airline prices flying into MCO just prior to Christmas.

Ian said we sold over 4K and the bowls were happy with that. Anything over 2/3 of a teams allotment is classified as the fan base traveling well. That was all on the postgame radio show.

You must not be on the LU Bookstore email list. Right after the win they posted the champ shirts. People were notified via email.
