I understand more than you know. My Dad is a highly decorated Vietnam vet. He's laid up right now dying. He wasn't supposed to live past the end of March, but he's the toughest SOB I've ever known and he was ALWAYS a hell of a lot stronger than me. We've already been told pretty much no one will be allowed at the funeral. My heart is broken and I've cried about it plenty, but that doesn't help my neighbor feed his children.

I didn't make up natural selection, it's just how our world works. Charles Darwin wrote a famous book about it a couple of hundred years ago. However, the majority of the hospitalizations come from the age group that only makes up 30% of the population. That speaks volumes. Also, how many of the people in the under 54 group have underlying conditions? That would be a better stat, IMO. What is the percent of people hospitalized under 55 that have 0 underlying conditions? I would be willing to bet that it is under 5%.
