Nobody ever said he was a hero. He was just another victim of this. Does anyone believe he deserved to die?
This isn't about George Floyd as much as it is about people of color being treated unfairly. Putting a real person's face to an issue is a way to wake us up. It could have been anyone. It just happened to be George Floyd this time.
He could have been the worst human being in the world and it still would have been wrong to kill him.
No, not all cops are bad and in fact the majority are good. The problem is that there are too many bad cops (1 is too many by the way) that have bad intentions.
Chris Rock put it pretty well: "I don’t think they pay cops enough. And you get what you pay for. Here’s the thing, man. Whenever the cops gun down an innocent black man, they always say the same thing: 'Well, it’s not most cops. It’s just a few bad apples. It’s just a few bad apples.'
Bad apple? That’s a lovely name for murderer. That almost sounds nice. I’ve had a bad apple. It was tart, but it didn’t choke me out. Here’s the thing. Here’s the thing. I know being a cop is hard. I know that ****’s dangerous. I know it is, okay? But some jobs can’t have bad apples.
Some jobs, everybody gotta be good. Like … pilots. Ya know, American Airlines can’t be like, 'Most of our pilots like to land. We just got a few bad apples that like to crash into mountains. Please bear with us.'

Why are you insinuating I meant that he deserved to die? And if you don't think he is being portrayed as a Hero in the media and at his funeral then you are fooling yourself. How many horse drawn carriage funerals do ambulance chasers like Rev Al pay for in Chicago where 18 people were murdered just this Sunday? It doesn't fit the narrative so none of these charlatan's care.

You’re just as bad as that guy who would click into Women’s Basketball threads for the sole purpose of telling everyone how useless Women’s Basketball is. You add nothing at all to the discussion.
If this thread is not for you, move along! This message board is free! You are not required to subjugate yourself to the horrors of non-sports discussion!
Sigh.
I spout off a’plenty, just try not to do it here.
Go to the spin room, make your point there.
I do. I come here to see what may be progress for JMU sports, or what seems to be regress.
