I live in Charlotte, and do you all want some quick facts? UNCC does not move the needle in this city. It's located in an area with high crime, and the place is a ghost town on the weekends. I'm sure this will be followed by more garbage about running water and ac.

UNCC wants you to believe they are this mighty force in the state of NC, but they aren't. They're just another average to good UNC system school, just like App, UNCW, and ECU.

I understand you guys want to put your best foot forward on your own conference board, but your academics are as mediocre as your athletics, and saying otherwise is a joke to those who know you- granted not many know you. I'll put our medical school ahead of anything you have or will ever have. In NC, you guys are well below the Big 4, Us and App. Enjoy your airport and public transportation though.

UNCC is a fine school, but don't act like it's miles ahead of App. UNCC was 5th on my list. Based on my neighborhood, my App degree has got me as far as UNC, State, Duke, Wake, Clemson, UVA, UGA, and even UNCC grads. In fact it appears to have taken me farther in a lot of cases.

Don't believe the UNCC hype.
