You beat me to this. They've been practicing since the announcement.

The ban was just for games. I'm just so glad this is over. I got tired of seeing everyone else play.

The UML game is on NESN. Men's hockey returns Dec. 12th.

Great news! I'm sure it wasn't easy to scrap the original edict. Kudos to the AD for being willing to reevaluate.

Agreed. Glad to hear they have been practicing at least...didn't know that. At least we will get 3 games under our belt before starting CAA play. Wonder if it is possible to find a local game between Dec 16-19 (i.e. Fairfield, Hartford, Maine)?

I'd take Fairfield or Hartford. No Maine please. That was one of the games canceled.

I don't want to go to Maine, although we do owe them a return game.

Merrimack is an option too.

Nice, happy they evaluating as they go and able to change their minds when the evidence suggests a better solution. Looking forward to seeing us play!

I'd love to see a fourth game. Anyone but a creampuff. BU would be perfect if they could get some sort of a waiver from their league.

Looks like game against Lowell is called off. This will just be the norm this season, with programs cancelling games on short notice (including ourselves cancelling games). Geez this year seriously feels like a dream

When Richmond had to shut down games with Furman and Charleston were cancelled so those two schools played each other. Maybe we could do the same with Vermont (UMass Lowell's next opponent.) I'm hoping the AD is working the phones hard.

More good news. For a while there I was thinking that we had game canceling down pat but needed to work on our game rescheduling. Great job by Athletics.

Wiz, you probably knew that Georgia is on tv Saturday playing Samford. Thought I'd be sure, though, since it's a chance to scout Georgia while checking out AJ Stanton Macray.... (the one who got away to a perrenial bottom 300 team.)

I’ve seen them play on ESPN 3 already.

Typical lower tier SEC team, with athleticism, so-so shooters and not a ton of height.

But if you don’t play disciplined ball and not turn it over, you could get blown out.

I may or may not check out Stanton. I’m trying to move on from recruits who didn’t come here. I see Weir got another DNP.

I hear you on following guys who got away. I'm facinated by how these kids make their decisions. AJ's was such a headscatcher for me until I dug around a little. His high school coach at West Oaks was Kenny Gillion. A new first year asst coach at Samford is Gerry Gillion. So, AJ gets to start on a bad team. I'll probably keep track of him to see if he realizes the sacrifice he made.

I actually knew the scenario as to why he went to Sanford, but for some reason I never posted it.

I’m just looking forward to seeing NU on the floor.
