Well we lost one apparent verbal. We're down to 11 commits.
Drew Coleman 5'- 10" 175# 4.5 JC All American 2002 and POY in his league 2002. Signed a letter of intent to play for Texas Christian.
Last year he committed to TCU but failed to qualify.
Guess he felt like honoring his original commitment. Nothing wrong with that. Hope him the best except when they play us.
Go Tu!

Are the rules different for JUCO's. HS players can't sign for a couple of months yet. I'm not too worried about wide receivers but he sounded like a prety good one if he stayed eligible!!!

Hey, welcome to the board Intellegenic! Forgot to say hello earlier.

I never have gotten too worked up over losing guys like this... with his academic track record, we may have avoided a big headache.

Thanks for the info!

if he made it through his juco requirments, which it sounded like he had, he would have done fine at TU. TCU isn't any easier than TU, nor is SMU or most of the private schools in the WAC/conf-usa. Houston, however is a different story... :o) I think they're public though.

Thanks for the welcome Cane Gang. I think this free board has much more potential than the Rivals free board. Those that pay at that site are not going to be very forthcoming to the nonpayers, with their privied information. People are more apt to speak there minds here unhibited. Hopefully information that we fans want and should not have to pay for, will find its way here in timely fashion. If not.......Here's to good objective conversation.

Objective conversation without over moderation.

Its like taxation without representation, or something along those lines.

I doubt it. They banned me from the other board for pretty much no reason - if you take into account the fact that TUFan did the EXACT same thing I did and she is still on there.

But thats ok - the Cronie 5 can have their board, and I'll have a good time over here. And I can make fun of Tulsa Teen, TU(my post count is higher than yours because I respond to every single post in the world and I have no identity beyond TU athletics and KJ)Fan, and Weather(watch your tone, don't disagree with me, or I'll block your user ID and edit your posts)Demon.

Honestly, I'm over it, but I just enjoy it. I'm sure it will die, unless of course WD, TT, and KJFan keep up their incredibly intelligent banter.

B&G, you were banned for posting a porn video on a Rivals sports board.

That is way different than the cartoon posted by TUFAN. While probably not appropriate for children under 14, it was not pornography.

It wasn't porn, it was a private video starring paris hilton.

Is there anything in the Rivals agreement stating you must be 14 and older or 18 and older or parents permission? I'd think it would be a PG website... of course, you won't be taking down that link or even giving KJFan a warning will you?

The cronie 5 is at it again!

Yea, you're right. A video showing a ***** penetrating Paris Hiltons ****** or a ***** in her mouth isn't porn.

What was I thinking!

Tell you what B&G, I actually was going to lift your ban tomorrow but, since you continue to make false allegations against me, bash others on that board, and refuse to acknowlege that you were wrong in posting a porn video on a sports site, your ban will remain in effect indefinitely.

BTW...Whether or not TUFan got a warning is none of your business. Same as why you were banned was no ones business until you continued to lie about the moderators on the other board.

We here at NCAAbbs are very happy to see all the CUSA fans coming over here. We welcome banter back and forth between fans from different schools as that is the life blood of a message board. Please remember what you consider ribbing may be offensive to someone else. There is a smack talk board and THAT is where the smack talk will take place. If any of you posters has a problem with another poster take it to your moderator. If you do not get a satisfactory result, ask an admin for help. We believe in letting you guys do what you want, within reason. Be clever, not crass. Thanks, Rick

I will just point out that Catbird and Chris Harmon BOTH had seen the video, Catbird have even responded on the thread, and neither of them EVEN DELETED THE LINK. They left it there. They sure didn't suspend his account. You need to stop being such a puritan.

And Damon says he is never the one doing the overmoderation.

Had many people complained? I doubt it. This has been my position all along, you do make decision based solely upon what you find offensive and don't consider whether a MAJORITY of the board community finds it offensive. If 60% of the people find something funny or interesting, 35% don't care and 5% get offended, you'll still take it down, which is just not the right way to do things. IMO.
