We will always believe that suit was the result of the same company designed both Rare Design who is based in Hattiesburg ms and their owner is a Southern Miss alum. He has designed several logos for colleges and pro teams.

Iowa paid 300k for their design. The owner of rare did not charge Southern Miss.

All white long haired dog that they used from (I think) the 80s through 2013. Look up any branding from then.

Yes, but it's the same general design. Doing some things with shading and background isn't the same as overhauling the entire logo. I consider both to be part of the same generation of logo.

I remember thinking UConn could have had an ax to grind with Creighton over Creighton’s updated branding. That “C” being a bit touch and go.

Hard to make a Husky look like a Husky without looking like a Husky.
