I’m not seeing UC as a legit option, but maybe I’m missing something. The QB room is a bit thin after a couple transfers last year and Ridder leaving this year but Evan Prater will be given a chance to earn the starting spot and a transfer coming in would need to be willing to compete to win the starting role. Doesn’t seem like something Nix would want to do given he has already been starting for 3 years.

In the end though, Cincy fans have to trust Coach Luke Fickell. Obviously his work developing players including Ridder is huge earns him the benefit of the doubt amongst everyone.

I live near Auburn, and my in-laws are big Auburn fans. I watch most of their games. Nix isn't that good.

Why is he transferring? The dude that got his job when he got hurt didn’t look so good.

every contender is going to have options at qb,
he is a 5star with 3years starting experience,a top 15 finish under his belt, tons of top 25 upsets every year.. even his "down year" this year he was 18tds 3ints

as a cincy fan you are going to be high on prater, from outsiders perspective like bo, he would be competing with a guy less touted than him who has zero legtimate game expereience, this would be an ideal landing spot

wants to play in an offense that will make him look better for the nfl
and imo the fact that his top options are aac schools makes me believe he wants to leave the SEC guantlet where can put up stats

How many years does he have left? That will tell you a lot, he would want to transfer to a team that will give him the most exposure and success. Would he look at going to AAC schools coming from SEC?

I think he most likely will look at P schools ready to be in top 10 from start.

Nix also hasn't had a good offensive line to play behind and has had three different OC's during his tenure at Auburn. This was Nix best season performance wise at Auburn and while he isn't a great QB he does have the potential to be a good QB. Just needs to get his priorities straight with off the field distractions and stop coming off like like a whiner.

Pass. UCF can maybe borrow him for a year while their younger guys develop a bit more, but imo they can do better

I have heard this also. In UCF's case, though, it would give Keene or any other QB another year to get acclimated to college football with an experienced QB playing. His stats weren't that bad and though he is not really a double threat, was only sacked three times. He seemed consistent enough.

Isn't that good against the SEC west is a lot different than an AAC schedule.

UC needs a backup with experience and one that call fill in. Someone needs to be able to push Prader as we don't have much behind him and none with game experience. I don't know if Nix is the answer, but they need someone similar who can be a team player.
