La Tech has a second-year freshman named Junior Lofton.

He's 6-7 275.

LaTech has played three tough road games: Alabama, NC State and Santa Clara.

Lofton is averaging 26 points and 13 rebounds in those games. Talk about the round mound of rebound!

They have LSU coming up Saturday.

How long before he transfers out.

They list him at 356 but at 7ft I guarantee he's 400+ with that girth.

I saw him here in Raleigh vs NC State. I think he had over 30. His name is Ken Lofton Jr so I had to google to see if he was related to the former Indians ball player. He is not.

No, Iā€™m not a Wolfpack fan. I just work there.

RE: OT: The next Sir Charles?
That Lofton kid is really good. I hope he can slim down some, as I can't imagine his body will hold up long term carrying that much weight. He doesn't have to be built like Blake Griffin, but at 6'7" he needs to get down to 260. Roster says he's 275, but I don't buy it -- he looks closer to 300.
