Oh my god!

I can only describe how great he was with this one story:

He had crazy long finals (sometimes they would take three plus hours) so of course he would schedule multiple times where you could take them. One of those times was during the normal slot of finals week. The class asked him and then voted unanimously to take the exam at another time so he could use that day to get one bonus lecture in. This was not his idea; the students begged him to do it.

Yes, 20ish year old college students voted to take the finals during what should have been free time so that we could hear him speak once more.

I've never heard of that with anyone else. He was truly amazing.
