I don't think its been said publicly, but it would seem with all the moves we're making, (ie the $500m endowment fundraising effort, the new bio-tech facility, millennial campus, etc.), we're heading in that direction. Here's to hope. 04-cheers

Dartmouth returned to R1 the next year. Not really sure why they were excluded for a year. Dartmouth was invited to AAU in 2019. Baylor achieved R1 this year too.
