bama losses to davidson on an almsot insane comeback, almost came back down 10 with 1 min to play, Bama misses game tieing free throws

horrible news for Memphis, but makes ecu loss to davidson more forgivable

and noting ecu was blowing out Davidson before a late collapse, in a showing what ecu could be if they put together game

Davidson beating Alabama will probably make quality teams pause a bit before scrambling to schedule games after covid cancels (both Davison and Alabama were supposed to play different teams)

Ummm, no. You all will have an easy 15 point + win against us. We stink. It's very very very early in Miller's tenure but we haven't seen any improvement since day 1 and his lineups/substitutions have me scratching my head. Talent deficiency aside, I was hoping to at least see some progress during non-conference.

Let's hope he keeps it up. His shooting was poor before this game.

He was a 21% 3 point shooter coming into the game, having made 6 on the season. Hell of a day.

He's had a bunch go in and out all season. Just really ****** luck a lot of the time. He's had plenty of looks before today. Hopefully this breaks his slump.

Notably, this isn't the first time that Zach Hicks has played this well. He impressed a lot of people by hitting 4 of his first 8 three-point shots in his first two games, including a 1-2 performance vs. USC.

In games 1 and 2, Hicks averaged 8.5 pts, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals per game in 18.0 mpg, with a FG% of .462 and a combined BPM of 17.1.

He cooled off after that and has been working his way back in the gym. His return to form couldn't have come at a better time, with conference play soon to begin. Without the injured RS guard Khalif Battle, Temple really needs to have another scoring threat in the lineup.

Interestingly, the Owls were lead by five freshmen in this game, and Coach McKie opted to start all five of them as a unit in the second half. They responded well, and they seem to be one of his best playing units at this point; quite possibly his best at times.

Shockers also down with Chaunce Jenkins (knee) also banged up. Isaac Abidde & Steele Chapman both suited but redshirting.

And.... maybe it’s just because I watch UCF each year a bit more than other teams... but doesn’t it seem like some of those guys are in their th or seventh year?
