Reports that a couple officers have been shot, no word on other injuries.

So social media is to blame. I guess the gun caused this too. The same misinformation (if it is that) happens in verbal communications as well. Blame belongs on the shooter and the poster. No where else.

Information received during an active situation is often transitory and changes often. Apologies if the info in the op was misinformation or caused confusion. It is what was heard from a friend who received a text message with that info from BC themselves, supposedly.

It has been confirmed that at least one officer was shot.

The information you posted was 100% accurate.

Brother in law just got the all clear and is able to go home. Not long ago he was still in lockdown and said they were thinking there were possibly others besides the one in custody.

Prayers to those injured. Hoping for a quick full recovery for them. Glad the all clear has been given. That is certainly good news. Wonder what sparked the shootout.
