I still remember vividly the games against UAB, especially the year Tom Penders had a fainting spell at UAB after contesting a call, and then the Refs called a T on him for fainting, and the UAB fans went bonkers cheering that.

I know the UH kids don't know anything about that, but for UH fans that remember the CUSA days, we gonna get some payback for that. 02-13-banana

UH rolling recently with the throwback Phi Slama Jama jerseys too

I liked those.

Penny went to the MSU uni's a while ago while we were on the winning streak. Probably didn't want to change because of a superstition thing. I don't mind it. My diploma says Memphis State.

I see. Thanks

Idk if y’all saw this but I think it goes both ways.

Looking back after the ECU loss and how down Memphis was I remember Penny’s press conference before the Houston game where someone asked basically if Penny had the Houston game circled and you could kind of see pennys eyes light up like after the 21 season and coming so close to getting that season defining win to get in the tournament but being denied he was going to everything he could to beat Houston this year.

And he did it twice. But along the way I think both teams have made each other better

Decided to watch the replay of the UH-Memphis champ game... holy hell, i guess I didn't notice how big these announcers were "slobknockering" on Memphis. 03-lmfao

I mean, they couldn't have sounded any closer to actually cheering for Memphis... heck they probably muted their mics every time they yelled "YES!!!" when Memphis scored. LOL

They managed to question everything UH did with suspicion, fouls, shot clock violations, leaving the bench... good lord! It's hilarious watching the replay and actually listening to them.

Memphis definitely has the season head-to-head trophy, but it's so much sweeter to have the double champ titles. As much as I view Memphis as an arch basketball rival, I most definitely will be pulling for them next weekend.

Please beat Boise to get to Gonzaga!!!!

As a Memphis fan, I will have to say, I thought the same thing. It's very unusual for us to be in that position... I didn't know how to react. Probably why we lost the game... 03-lmfao

I know that feeling. I always feel like we're at our best when the media is overlooking us or disrespecting us. The media they start hyping us up I start to fear we may be overrated lol
