RE: ACC schools exploring ways around the GOR
Schools like Cuse and BC will never dissolve this. ESPN will have to make them whole, by offering them a home in a conference that will keep them contented while not losing a penny in terms of the current money owed their way.
I'd imagine if ACC schools are being moved into the SEC/B1G (probably SEC as it will be E$PN driven), they will have to take a pay cut relative to the other SEC schools, because there is no other way to make schools like Pitt/Cuse/BC/UL whole (assuming they can't find a P2 home).

They may think the ACC is beyond saving but the B1G isn't excited for them save ND.
Next move could be ND+UF+UA+UGA to the B1G for 20. Turn the SEC into rump material.

RE: ACC schools exploring ways around the GOR
Basically, let's say 36 million per x14 is a -$504 million shortfall.
If 8 ACC schools move to the SEC (the more ACC schools E$PN can move the better), that's 288 million going their way plus some pay raise for moving to the SEC.
$216 million needs to go to 6 schools that are left behind... a discounted lump sum from NDs potential buyout could keep BC/Cuse/Pitt/UL whole in the event they are among the six left behind.
The money is there.

Un-equal revenue sharing will be the death of the ACC.
Probably voids the GOR

I figure the 10 PAC schools w/ take 6 of the western B12 schools. ND will leave for the B1G, ACC will take WVU, Cincinnati. Then when SEC will take Clemson, UNC. ACC would pluck 2 more B12 probably Houston, Baylor. I think the ACC could take any of the B12 that end up in the PAC if they want to go that route, like a Kansas or Oklahoma St. It's just the domino order will likely mean PAC moves next on the B12

How many ACC schools would need to votes YES in order to dissolve the conference? Just thinking that perhaps there would be enough schools to vote for it because they’re guaranteed landing spots for the schools who vote yes. 75%? 11/15 schools get you to 75%, if that’s the percentage required.
Can espn broker this between the SEC/B1G to get out of the contract/GOR?
If so, which schools go where and who’s left out?

lol, now that is some wishful thinking
There is wayyyy too much dead weight in the B1G to interest the SEC elite.

For Pitt, we have 3 potential outcomes: B10, SEC or some meshed up grouping of other left behind little brothers consisting of Oregon State, Washington State, Kansas State, Syracuse, WVU, Cincinnati, Louisville, BYU, Baylor, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, WVU, UCF, North Carolina St and so on. Give Pitt our verdict tomorrow and if we have to play Cincinnati for a silly looking trophy then fck it. All this waiting around ten years isn't healthy for anyone.

RE: ACC schools exploring ways around the GOR
The ACC definitely needs to do something to shake things up. They’ve got schools that want out and who would find safe landing spots.
ESPN has them shackled together and no one can get away.

The ACC might be the surprise winner in all of this if they somehow manage to keep their GOR in place for the duration of their deal.

Seems like a Hail Mary by the lesser earners. I don’t necessarily think it would void the GOR, more like an amendment.
