I could stand losing to MSU or even USF once.. But we gotta win both Jaxville State games

Looking at Hall's recruiting compared to Hopson and the rumors I've heard about how he runs the program, he'll be lucky to be the head coach in 2025.

So, the way you worded this is very foreboding, did you mean it to be?

I think what he means is that Hall will be courted away by a bigger program.

I can agree with the sentiment, but his wording says something else.

We can’t afford to whiff on our next hire

Being far away I've heard how he recruits and how he runs the program from different sources, and it's all been positive, unless Bran knows something different, the wording might've been off.

The next is a whiff. That's the pattern.

I can't get into specifics, but someone pretty darn close to the program doesn't have the best things to say about how much Hall cares about his players graduating. Taking a quick look at recruiting rankings (with transfer portal accounted for) doesn't look good either.

His graduation rate is comparable to ole ms I believe. His recruiting is very concerning though. I was expecting much more. Expected more from the portal this year too.

Where did we finish? I didn't know it was bad. He did promise a lot saying something like he would have the highest ranked class in school history.

Looks to be middle of the road for the SBC, which doesn't say much one way or another but it definitely isn't an impressive class as far rankings. Hopefully we landed a couple of serviceable QB's, we're gonna need them.

I think he got a few really good recruits. It just wasn't a class full of them. You have to remember some of the star players throughout our history have been people who weren't highly rated.

I certainly don't think we did bad.

I mean I think the only coach I remember recently that treated their graduating players well was Monk. I recall he used to buy them new suits for their next chapter.

Any way you slice it, we should have a better class. With his ties to MS and all the talking he was doing about the great(est) classes ever that he would sign, he has missed the mark.

I don't take a ton of stock in the recruiting class numbers... I believe TAMU had the best class last year that money could buy.... How'd they do?

I fully believe that a coach looks at what he needs and then finds the best player to fill that spot..
