Maybe he hit with the shoulder first, but if so, it was really close.

Clearly wasn't leading with the helmet imo.

Sort of tough to believe Steelers never had a game with this high of attendance.

Started watching after Pitt made it 24-17.

Now 24-24.

The crowd is strong.

A good one.

Been watching since the opening kickoff. This has been an absolutely kick arse game! Hard hittin', back-n-forth rivalry game. Doesn't get any better.

Doesn't matter what you lead with. Its what you hit with. So many times targeting is where the offensive player dips and so its a helmet hit instead of shoulder.

Apparently they decided the shoulder to shoulder contact was first.

A big Steelers game is probably a lot more expensive

I haven't watched the game but I assume Oklahoma St put the reserves in after the half?

It's both. You have to go helmet-to-helmet and show an "indicator of targeting." The only one that could feasibly apply here is leading with the helmet, and that wasn't there.

Edit: k i'm not actually sure

They did not, those points were scored against a veteran defense.

Can WVU score here and not leave too much time for Pitt to respond?

(Narrator- they let Pitt score and left themselves enough time to respond)

I’ll say it again. The ACC needs to add WVU as soon as possible. It is a crime these two schools aren’t still in the same conference. Not to mention WVU vs VT, Miami, etc
