With OOC over our ladies now begin their conference journey as well. We start off with the always tricky game at UNCW. We have absolutely owned them, but there have been plenty of scares, even when UNCW is not good (usually). UNCW is sitting 3-8 and at 268 in the NET, with no real games of note (beyond being blown out by good teams). They play a lot of women, 7 gals average over 20 minutes a game and a couple more in double digits. Carrie Gross is their leader with 13.5 points and 3.7 boards a game.

To be honest, this one should be a blowout. Kei may be able to beat UNCW by herself. Hopefully we get some news on Kylie and she is ready to go. I am looking to see if we can get anyone else to step up with consistency. Grace has been the closest to doing so, but its hard to expect consistency out of a freshman. Would like to continue seeing more from Hetta and certainly more from Hendrixson.

Also of note for those living under a rock but heading into conference play Keishana is still leading the country in scoring. 1.2 points a game higher than the 2nd leader, Denise Dillon's Maddy Siegrist. Take Siegrist and Clark of Iowa out and Kei is nearly 3 points a game higher than anyone else. Remarkable and also why the urge to get help for her.

Pure domination by the Dragons today against a Seahawk team that seemed distinterested in being there. They let Martin take over the team from Barefoot last season, and it doesn't seem like much has changed with them.

Washington lowered her scoring average by only scoring a game high 21. If she doesn't get the national scoring title, it could be because of games like today, where they dominated enough to limit her minutes.

I was happy to see contributions from everyone who played and not rely on Kei to score 30+. Hopefully our supporting cast can build off of their performance last night. Glad we dominated this team
